KIU has successfully awarded 25 scholarships under the Pakistan Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) to deserving students from various disciplines.

Karakoram International University has successfully awarded 25 scholarships under the Pakistan Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) to deserving students from various disciplines. According to the KIU Directorate of Public Relations, a formal scholarship distribution ceremony was held at the Main Campus, Gilgit. The scholarships were specifically allocated to students enrolled in Medical Lab Technology (MLT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Tourism programs. Under this initiative: 10 students from the Hunza Campus 5 students from the Diamer Campus 10 students from the Main Campus, Gilgit received the financial grants. The aim of this scholarship is to support bright students from diverse backgrounds and empower them to contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic development of Gilgit-Baltistan. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Abdul Razzaq, Director QEC, Shahid Ahmed Shigri, Director Financial Aid, and the scholarship recipients. Dr. Abdul Razzaq expressed appreciation for PEEF’s support and emphasized that, “These scholarships are not just financial aid — they are investments in the future of our students and our nation.” Students also expressed heartfelt gratitude, noting that this financial support will significantly reduce their burden and allow them to focus more on their education. Earlier, Mr. Shahid Ahmed Shigri briefed the participants on the objectives of the scholarship, encouraging students to utilize the support to excel in academics.
