**Alkousar USA has awarded 29 scholarships to KIU Students** Karakoram International University (KIU) organized a ceremony for the distribution of Al-Kausar Scholarship cheques, where 29 talented and deserving students were awarded scholarships at main campus Gilgit. The ceremony was graced by KIU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah as the chief guest. In his address, he emphasized that the Al-Kausar Scholarship is not just financial aid but a recognition of students’ hard work, determination and potential for a bright future. He further added that education is the foundation of development and such initiatives ensure that no talented student is left behind due to financial challenges. The Vice Chancellor congratulated the scholarship recipients and extended gratitude to Al-Kausar USA Inc. for their generous support in empowering students through higher education. Earlier, Shahid Ahmed Shigri, Director Financial Aid Office, highlighted that the 29 scholarships were awarded after a rigorous selection process, considering both academic merit and financial need. He noted that the initiative aligns with Al-Kausar USA Inc.’s broader goals of promoting social justice and humanitarian support. Dr. Ammar Hussain, the focal person of the Al-Kausar Scholarship, informed participants that the scholarship budget had been doubled this year compared to previous years, enabling more students to benefit. Faculty, administration, and students attended the event, while scholarship recipients expressed their gratitude, stating that the financial support will help them continue their educational journey with confidence.
