Vice-Chancellor
My dear students, parents, and philanthropists. Assalamu Alaikum!
Welcome to the Financial Aid Office. It is indeed a matter of pleasure for me to share that at
KIU,
we are offering a number of scholarships to position holders and needy but talented students.

Currently KIU offers more than 3000 scholarships with the support of various sponsors
including
HEC Merit Cum Need, BISP scholarships, US Aid scholarships, Pakistan Education Foundation
scholarships,
Scottish Government scholarships, Chinese Ambassadorial scholarships and many more.

The scrutiny committee to award these scholarships is comprised of senior academics and
officers
to ensure transparency, merit, and efficiency of the process so that deserving students are
given
the scholarships. A thorough document and income verification system has been implemented so
that
only deserving students are awarded such scholarships as prescribed by donor agencies.

At the same time, we are exploring more funding opportunities for deserving students coming
from
underprivileged segments of society. It is also the responsibility of parents to provide
correct
and genuine information at the time of application so that deserving students can be awarded
their rights.

For students acquiring scholarships, it is mandatory that they work hard and meet the
expectations
of their sponsors by showing their best performance and achieving top positions. Such
students must
be proud of their scholarships and must refrain from any unethical activity that can breach
the trust
placed in them.

To philanthropists and the Pakistani diaspora abroad, I request you to contribute generously
to the
scholarship funds of KIU. Every year around 700–800 students face severe financial
challenges, most
of them female. Your support is essential to continue their education.

I also appreciate the hard work of the Financial Aid Office team and hope they will continue
with
the same dedication and commitment to ensure justice for deserving students.
