Karakoram International University (KIU) distributed scholarship cheques to 21 talented students under the Pakistan Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) scholarship program, providing financial assistance to support their higher education. The scholarship distribution ceremony was held at the university’s main campus, where Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razaq attended as the chief guest. Senior university officials and scholarship recipients were also present on the occasion. Addressing the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razaq urged students to remain focused on their studies, further improve their academic performance and pursue their goals with dedication and determination. He congratulated the scholarship recipients on their achievements, describing the awards as recognition of their hard work, talent and commitment to excellence. The Acting Vice Chancellor expressed gratitude to the Pakistan Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) for its continued support of KIU students through financial assistance programs. He appreciated the organization's contribution to promoting higher education and requested an increase in the number of scholarships so that more deserving students could benefit from the initiative and continue their education without financial constraints. He also acknowledged the efforts of the Financial Aid Office, particularly Director Financial Aid Office Shahid Ahmed Shigri and his team, for facilitating the scholarship process. Earlier, Director Financial Aid Office Shahid Ahmed Shigri delivered a detailed briefing on the PEEF Scholarship Program and its role in supporting deserving and high-achieving students.
