PBM Distributes Scholarship Cheques among 75 KIU Students Karakoram International University (KIU), in collaboration with Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, distributed scholarship cheques among deserving students during a ceremony held at the university. The event was attended by Acting Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Razaq as the chief guest. He was accompanied by Dr. Muhammad Nisar-ul-Haq Kiani, Director of Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Gilgit Region, senior university officials and students. During the ceremony, scholarship cheques were distributed among deserving students to support their educational pursuits and help ease their financial burdens. Addressing the participants, Prof. Dr. Abdul Razaq appreciated Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal for its continued support of students in need. He stated that such initiatives not only provide financial assistance but also help deserving students overcome barriers to higher education. He reaffirmed KIU’s commitment to providing quality education and research opportunities for students across Gilgit-Baltistan. The Acting Vice Chancellor also acknowledged the efforts of the Financial Aid Office, particularly Director Financial Aid Office Shahid Ahmed Shigri and his team, for their dedication in facilitating scholarship opportunities for students. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Muhammad Nisar-ul-Haq Kiani, Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal Gilgit Region, said that the organization's mission is to serve humanity with dignity and compassion. He emphasized that Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal will continue supporting educational initiatives aimed at empowering deserving students. Earlier, Director Financial Aid Office Shahid Ahmed Shigri delivered a detailed presentation on the scholarship program and its impact on student welfare. The scholarship recipients expressed their gratitude to Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal and the university administration, stating that the financial support would play a vital role in helping them continue their educational journey and achieve their academic goals.
